The Andaman serpent eagle (Spilornis elgini) is a species of bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. It is endemic to the Andaman Islands in southeast India.
Habitat
The Andaman serpent eagle’s natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical mangrove forest. It is threatened by habitat loss. The Andaman serpent eagle prefers areas of scattered trees.
